Gobo’s Arena

Compete against other players in the arena until there is only the Goblins King!
Take on waves of enemies to build an unstoppable fighter, outplay other players, and become the new King of the Goblins.
Gobo’s Arena is an online multiplayer game in which you face off against 5 other players in a series of 1v1 battles. The game draws inspiration from Team Fight Tactics and Battlerite, featuring a round-based system interspersed with shop phases like the former, and incorporating the top-down combat gameplay of the latter during battle phases.
The game plays out as follows:
- A carousel phase in which each player can pick up a weapon or strike another player to steal their weapon.
- A shop phase in which players can buy runes that grant them various bonuses, such as stat boosts or other effects that will help them in combat. This phase will then occur between each round.
- PvE rounds in which players can earn potions.
- Finally, each player will face off against another player. The loser of this battle will lose health points, and dropping to 0 means the end of the game for that player. The last player still alive wins the game and the title of King of the Goblins.

My role on this project
- Development and integration of the different cameras.
- Development of the combat system taking into account the constraints linked to the network.
- Integration of the different models, animations and VFX linked to the characters and their attacks.
- Integration of the different sounds and music of the game.
- Setting up duser interfaces.
- Lead of theprogrammer team.
